You can find the host file in the folowing windows directory’s depending of the OS.
Windows 95/98/Me c:\windows\hosts
Windows NT/2000 c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Windows XP Home/XP Pro c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
